Ceremonial Hall's design draws inspiration from the nearby Váh River—the deep blues of water and sky infuse the interior, setting a serene and dignified mood. At the heart of the room, a custom painting of the local riverside landscape anchors the design, reinforcing a strong connection to place.
The color palette reflects the village’s coat of arms: blue and golden yellow. Blue appears in the richly patterned carpet, velvet upholstery, and accent walls, while golden yellow shines in the chair backs and ceiling, illuminated by sparkling chandeliers.
These tones also carry symbolic meaning—blue for continuity and harmony, gold for prosperity, light, and the region’s celebrated onion harvest and annual festival. Soft white walls and deep brown wood elements complete a timeless composition that balances formality with warmth.
Beyond its aesthetics, the hall was designed as a living public space. It hosts ceremonial gatherings such as welcoming new-born children into the community, weddings, and anniversaries, as well as educational occasions—introducing local schoolchildren to the municipality and its traditions.
This dual role, both symbolic and practical, reflects the hall’s essence: a place where heritage, identity, and community life come together.
