I reimagined the former Blue Salon as the château’s most prestigious suite, featuring deep blue tones, classic styling, and an atmosphere of understated opulence.
For the entrance hall, I proposed a custom marble-inspired carpet, a hand-drawn fresco, and a sculptural Story element—blending heritage with artistic sophistication.
Although the investor ultimately prioritized simplicity, practicality, and budget over maximalist luxury, the project sparked a creative exploration:
the marble carpet design in the main entry hall later inspired the idea of producing a similar statement carpet in cowhide, bridging craftsmanship and storytelling in an unexpected material.
